To prepare classis’ agendas, take minutes, maintain the files and archives, and attend to all official correspondence of classis.
- Ability to manage a host of details and procedures.
- Capacity to keep track of decisions, reports, follow-up, credentials, and so on.
- Ability to advise congregations, especially councils, and local clerks regarding Church Order as well as a host of related procedural matters with patience and clarity, thoroughness, and accuracy.
- Sense of humor helps.
