Worship Ministries is a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church In North America (CRCNA) that supports the local church in worship by providing leaders with networking, strengthening, and resourcing.
Worship Ministries desires that every worshiping community in the CRCNA experiences vibrant gospel proclamation and worship that is directed to God, is biblically based and theologically Reformed, and is characterized by creativity, discernment, spiritual vitality, the faith formation of all worshipers, and a call to serve others.

Rev. Joyce Borger
Joyce Borger is an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church who is passionate about helping people discover the beauty, diversity, wonder, sacredness, and power of worship. She is also the current editor of Reformed Worship and served as editor of several song collections and hymnals including Lift Up Your Hearts.
Laura lives in Caledonia, MI with her husband, John. She has a passion to serve God's church, the true hope for the world, through Worship Ministries CRC. Worship has been a big part of Laura’s life over the years being part of choirs, praise groups, leading junior choirs, and many worship training opportunities.
Katie Ritsema-Roelofs is a commissioned pastor in the Christian Reformed Church and has been involved in worship ministry for the past 15 years. She serves as the Minister of Music and Worship at the Washington DC, CRC and also plans worship at the Silver Spring, CRC. She holds a Bachelor's in Music and Worship from Calvin College, and has been a student at Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
Jeremy Simpson lives in Kalamazoo, MI where he serves in campus ministry. He is a graduate of Western Theological Seminary and a commissioned pastor through the RCA. He has served in worship ministries for over 15 years, including 2 years at Sunshine Community Church (CRC). He has also led worship at the CRCNA’s Inspire conference.
Gary pastors in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at Calvin Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry degree at Denver Seminary. Gary loves to read and discuss the theology of our union with Jesus and everything that goes with it. Gary and his wife love to travel to new places and spend time with their kids.
Calvin Theological Seminary Student Rep
Ben was born and raised in west Michigan. He studied Pre-Seminary and Music & Worship at Kuyper College, and now serves as Director of Worship Arts at Third CRC in Kalamazoo, MI. Ben is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity through the distance learning program at Calvin Theological Seminary and enjoys being a guest preacher at CRC congregations throughout west Michigan.
April pastors alongside her husband, Melvin Jackson, at GRACE Unlimited CRC in Los Angeles, CA. She is a teacher, psalmist, and a passionate worshiper. She’s devoted to building, educating and encouraging others in their physical, spiritual and mental well-being. April has a tremendous love for writing, drawing, and calligraphy. She is a mother of four, and has three grandsons.
Joyce serves God as a Worship Leader & an Elder at Madison Avenue Christian Reformed Church in Paterson, New Jersey, whose Mission Statement is "Meeting Needs-Transforming Lives-By the Power of Jesus.
Ahnna Cho Park
Ahnna is an ordained minister of the CRCNA. Born in Korea, raised in Saudi Arabia, and immigrated to the US at the age of 12, Ahnna’s understanding of Christianity has always been global in scope. She leads worship in both Korean and English and has led worship in a diversity of settings. Her passion lies in clarifying the truth of God and interpreting them through the arts for the sake of God’s glory and the discipleship of the saints all around the world.
Latino Consejo Rep
Christian is a minister of the Word for Casa de Oracion in Spring, Texas. He is recognized as one of the most accomplished Gospel music producers, musicians, and composers in Venezuela. Christian has created three gospel albums and won multiple awards. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and three children.
Darlene comes from Crownpoint, NM but has spent most of her years in Denver, CO. She attends and has a license to exhort with the Crownpoint CRC, and from 1996 to 2012 she served as Music Minister at the Christian Indian Center in Denver. Darlene is Navajo, retired, and has recently become a cancer survivor.
US Great Lakes
Chris is an ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church and serves as Pastor of Worship and the Arts at Covenant Life Church in Grand Haven, Michigan, where he has served and worshiped with his family since 2010. He is also an Endorsed Worship Coach of the CRCNA.
