Worship Conference at Redeemer
During the past decade, many congregations have made significant shifts in their manner of worship, and many church members have begun to provide worship leadership in new ways. These shifts tend to come with both delightful blessings and growing pains.
Recognizing this, Redeemer University College, in collaboration with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, will host a one day worship equipping conference on Saturday,Sept. 20.
Entitled The Art of Worship Team Leadership, the conference will have two tracks. Track one will be led by Greg Scheer and Paul Ryan (both from the Calvin Institute), and will focus on refining the music team (vocalists and those who play keyboards, guitar, bass and percussion). Track two will focus on planning and leading worship (the non-musical dimensions), and will be led by various experts in theatre arts, creative arts and worship planning.
Registration for the day is $30/person (includes lunch), and must be received bySept. 15.
