Seminary Releases Annual Report
Calvin Theological Seminary’s enrollment for the 2012 2013 academic year stood at 306 students, 245 of whom were male and 61 female, according to the seminary’s just-released annual report.
The majority of students were from North America with 62 coming from Korea, six from Indonesia, five from China and 20 from other countries, says the report.
More than 170 students were Christian Reformed or from other Reformed denominations, while 70 were Presbyterians, 11 Baptists and 52 from other church groups.
With 17 faculty members, the seminary was able to keep the sizes of classes to an average of 15 students.
Also contained in the annual report is a story on the seminary’s church-renewal program, interviews with seminary students, and an overview of a popular program for Hispanic pastors.
