Joint Resources for Easter/Pentecost

February 10, 2011

Christian Reformed Home Missions and Christian Reformed World Missions are once again collaborating to help churches celebrate the time from Easter to Pentecost, Lois Craven of CRC World Missions writes on behalf of CRHM and CRWM.

From Easter Sunday, April 24, through Pentecost Sunday, June 12, Home and World Missions, writes Craven, will share how they are jointly following God’s Gospel "From the Cross, Through the Church, To the World." Some of the available resources include:

  • A 28-day, downloadable, interactive family guide with daily family activities.
  • Churches may order lids and labels for children’s banks.
  • A poster
  • A DVD with two videos - one from CRHM and one CRWM.
  • Children’s bulletin masters.
  • Bulletin covers and inserts.

One resource Home and World Missions are excited about is a brand new resource - a 28-day interactive family guide that has a weekly devotional and daily activities to engage the whole family in missions.

"One optional activity is to make a bank from a soup can. Bank lids and labels are available to churches (not sent to individuals) at no cost but REQUIRE ORDERING. If you are interested in receiving these resources please make sure your church has ordered them," writes Craven.

Easter resources will be mailed on or about February 24 (including ordered lids and labels).

Pentecost resources will be mailed on or about April 14.

"Together we can bring the message of the Gospel . . . from the cross, through the church, to the world," says Craven.
