CRWM Offers Prayer Resources
Christian Reformed World Missions has made available a website full of resources for persons interested in participating in next week's National Day of Prayer, as well as in other prayer celebrations taking place this year.

Resources from the CRWM site include a prayer guide, prayer cards, prayer quotes and a list of books on prayer that are available from Faith Alive Christian Resources.
There is also a calendar of prayer events, including the Global Day of Prayer and the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Information is also available on how to receive ePray in your email.
"Prayer is one of the most important ways we engage together with God in His mission to transform lives and communities throughout the world," says CRWM on the website.
"Join us in prayer for our missionaries, national partners, and God's global mission to extend His kingdom and build his church."
The 60th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer will take place on Thursday, May 5th. Prayer gatherings will be held outside civic offices, at the U.S. Congress, in churches, schools and elsewhere.

This year's theme, "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God," is based on Psalm 91:2: "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust," according to a press release published by the National Day of Prayer Task Force.
The honorary chairperson for this year’s National Day of Prayer is Joni Eareckson Tada, founder and chief executive officer of Joni and Friends International Disability Center. She is an international advocate for people with disabilities.
Regarding her role with this year's National Day of Prayer, Eareckson says on the NDP website:
"I'm so grateful to God He has given me the health and stamina to call the people of our nation into faithful and specific prayer for our country. I look forward to fulfilling my responsibilities in this important role and I trust the Lord will use me to inspire and encourage others to cultivate a lifetime habit of prayer."
