Banner Reports on C3 Forum
Canadian members of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) have released a statement that comes out of a meeting held earlier this month near Toronto to discuss future directions for both the denomination and for the church in Canada.
At what was called the Canadian Catalytic Conversation or C3 Forum, participants had conversations about, among other things, how churches in Canada can play a more important role in setting the priorities of the CRCNA.
The statement coming out of the meeting supported a binational church. But it also says Canadians “need a unique voice to respond to a national context that is bilingual, secular, multicultural, and with different political systems that deeply impact ministries in public justice, health, education, and ecumenical relations,” says a story in The Banner, the monthly magazine of the CRCNA.
Besides reporting on the statement, The Banner also reports various views on the C3 Forum.
