Christian Reformed World Missions

Participants in Christian Reformed World Mission’s Global Prayer Safari gathered from Feb. 3-13, 2017, in Uganda, East Africa.

During the journey, local ministry leaders, CRWM missionaries, and North American volunteers lifted up  thousands of prayers to God.

“For ten days, we journeyed as a team, praying in prisons, hospitals, market places, government offices, radio stations, king’s palaces, street corners, schools, airports, and the Source of the Nile,” says Karen Lubbers who helped organize and plan much of this year’s Prayer Safari.

The team, which included about 40 people from ages 15 to 70 and had eight different nationalities represented, only had one task on this mission trip—a task to pray.
