New Editor for Think Christian

February 17, 2011

Josh Larsen, a long-time newspaper journalist and full-time film critic, has become a new staff member and editor for Think Christian.

Filled with often up-to-the-moment, online content, ThinkChristian.net is intended to be a place for conversations in which faith and culture meet. The site's goal is to deepen Christian discipleship. It is part of ReFrame Media, an outreach of BTGMI.

"If you are a regular visitor to ThinkChristian.net you may already know Josh from the film reviews he's been contributing for several years," says a Back To God Ministries International news release. He has also been a contributor to The Banner's "Tuned In" column.

"At Think Christian we talk about all sorts of issues: Does God care about your tax returns? Is there a biblical perspective on adopting babies from overseas? Is there spirituality in soccer? How does Christ change every corner of your life?" says the news release.

Think Christian touches tens of thousands of people each month, visitors from all around the world from such cities as New York, Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles, Washington, Atlanta, London (England), and Sydney (Australia). Literally, the program is talking with the whole world about what it means to think as a Christian.

While retaining the same voices its readers have come to appreciate, BTGMI is looking to recruit new contributors to ThinkChristian.

"We'll also redesign and rebuild the TC website, as well as implement an editorial structure that will allow us to produce more (and more varied) content," says the news release.

BTGMI invites people to join the conversation on the site with Christians and others around the world as they talk about faith and culture.

"Our mission remains the same: not only to recognize contemporary culture – from politics, to arts, to business, to science – as part of God’s world, but to engage our God-owned global society by discussing what it means to live as a Christian within it. We’d love to hear what you think," says the news release.
