Inspire 2019 Is About to Begin

July 31, 2019

Hundreds of people will soon arrive in Windsor, Ont., from across Canada and the United States to participate in the Christian Reformed Church in North America’s second denomination-wide gathering for ministry leaders.

The Inspire 2019 event begins at 2 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 1, at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts in Windsor, Ont., across the Detroit River from downtown Detroit, where Inspire 2017 took place.

Seeking connection, insights, and tips on leadership and a chance to take part in rousing worship, Inspire participants will hear from a range of speakers, including best-selling author Ann Voskamp, Calvin College chaplain Mary Hulst, church planting expert Ed Stetzer, and theologian/writer Soong-Chan Rah.

Also at Inspire 2019, many workshops will take place on subjects from the history of the CRCNA to a look at ethnic ministries in the denomination, and from ways to keep your church a safe and friendly place for all to an overview of how to create the most effective youth ministries.

More than 700 people have already registered. Those who missed the deadline but still wish to attend are encouraged to visit Inspire Central (on the main floor of the St. Clair Centre) for a single-day registration. These registrations cost $35/day and will be available while supplies last.

Of course, there will also be good food, fellowship, and plenty of time to connect with people from across our denomination to share stories and learn from each other.

Whether you're a deacon, elder, Sunday school leader, Bible study participant, worship leader, mission team member, or community outreach coordinator or you fill another role in your church community, you will find relevant workshops to help you in your ministry.

Come and discover new resources that can benefit your congregation. Connect with people who are involved in similar types of ministry. Share your stories and learn from others. You won’t want to miss it.

Inspire 2019 events will not be broadcasted or recorded, but photos and stories from Inspire will be shared on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
