Speakers & Summary

The event will be held November 14-16, 2023 at the Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Conference check-in will begin on Tuesday at noon. The conference starts at 1 p.m. and will conclude about noon on Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon and evening you will have free time to experience all that Albuquerque has to offer (details below).

At the hotel you can enjoy the comfy hotel rooms, pool, hot tub, and wonderful public spaces for relaxation. Detailed schedule and session information will be added in the coming months.

Mary Hulst serves as University Pastor at Calvin University.  In addition to loving her students, preaching on campus, and serving in leadership at the university, Mary lectures around the U.S. on preaching, teaches occasionally at Calvin Theological Seminary, and consults with churches and search committees on how to listen to sermons. Mary is eager to pour into pastors who have led through one of the most challenging seasons in our shared memories.  In her sessions, she will guide us in listening to the Holy Spirit and listening to each other as a way to pay attention to what God is up to in our lives.

Mary lives in Grand Rapids, MI, with her husband, Drew Kromminga, and their dog, Phoebe.  She has three mostly-adult step-children.

On Wednesday you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to explore on your own or in groups to experience the beauty, culture, shopping and adventure of Albuquerque. The hotel is located in the heart of Albuquerque, Historic Old Town founded in 1706 and the center of Albuquerque's cultural district, with numerous museums, shops, galleries, and more. Supper will be on your own at your choice of the many local restaurants.

Or if you don’t feel like going out, you may choose to enjoy your free time at the hotel.
