Here are the resources available to your church for special dates and offerings throughout the year. Materials vary from week to week, but can include bulletin covers and inserts, children's resources, devotionals, worship planning tools, prayers, projection graphics and more. The resources are organized below by their suggested date on the CRCNA Deacons' Offering Calendar; however, most materials are designed in such a way that they may be used on any date that works best for your congregation.

Emails are sent twice a year (in March and September) to every Christian Reformed congregation in North America with a unique order form link that allows you to order materials for six months at a time. April 14, 2024 - Abuse Awareness Sunday - Thrive

NoImage

Every year, the Christian Reformed Church sets aside one Sunday in the year to acknowledge and recognize the painful reality of abuse. It is an opportunity to lament and grieve with those who have been harmed by abuse in any form, to commit again to doing what we as a Christian community can do to prevent abuse, and to inspire congregations to address abuse in ways that seek justice and healing for all those who have been impacted. This year, Abuse Awareness Sunday is April 14, 2024. The theme for this year's Abuse Awareness Sunday is Safe People. Safe Congregations.

Justice and mercy practices usher us into the patterns of loving others that Jesus Christ declared were central to his mission (Matt 11:2-6; Luke 4:14-21). These practices serve as tools through which we learn to imitate Jesus so that his image is formed in us (Gal. 4:19), thereby cultivating God’s character in us.
