Calvin Theological Seminary

Calvin Theological Seminary (CTS) has a new resource designed to equip church leaders and all believers for resilient, lifelong discipleship, and it comes in the form of videos and podcasts.

The Forum has traditionally been presented as a print publication produced by Calvin Theological Seminary as a means for exploring the deep connections between theology, culture, and calling. Recently CTS has expanded The Forum to include videos and podcasts, as well as print articles, to further inspire people in their faith journey.

In the latest season of The Forum podcast, Dr. Aaron Einfeld, director of lifelong learning at CTS, hosts a series of thoughtful conversations with therapists, theologians, ministry leaders, and artists—who speak candidly about topics such as adaptive leadership, anxiety, resilience, burnout prevention, grief, and the spiritual challenges facing today’s church.

“With honesty and hope, each episode invites listeners to grow in self-awareness, strengthen their emotional and spiritual health, and reimagine how faith communities can embody humility, authenticity, and grace in a rapidly changing world,” said Jul Medenblik, president of CTS.

The series launched on July 23 with an episode featuring Wendy Fisher, associate director of lifelong learning, sharing how the Lifelong Learning program equips pastors and Christian leaders for long-term spiritual and vocational health. New episodes drop every Wednesday.

The Aug. 13 episode featured Dr. Constantine R. Campbell, a professional jazz saxophonist and New Testament scholar who spoke candidly about reconciling his faith and artistry, offered critiques of the political entanglements of modern evangelicalism, and shared a moving personal account of grace following divorce.

Other episodes include building resilience in anxious times, breaking through resistance, and healing from ministry burnout.
