God's Majestic Plan in Bali

August 26, 2015

Sariani, who lives in Gianyar, Bali, is married to a day laborer. She is the mother of two small children.

To help the family economy she sells side dishes, vegetables, and cakes at a small stall in front of her house.

Sariani is a Hindu devotee, but she likes to listen to the the Back to God Ministries International Indonesian radio program Rancana Agung (Majestic Plan).

The program, broadcast in the Bali tribal language, shares God’s word in a way that attracts seekers to the gospel message.

One day Sariani called the phone number mentioned at the end of the program and talked to Pastor Ketut Suparta, the BTGMI listener community coordinator in Gianyar. He invited Sariani to visit a small faith community to hear and discuss more messages like the ones she was hearing on the radio. The group also spends time in prayer for one another.

Although she hasn't given her life to Christ, Sariani has become an active member of the group.

When Rev. Lukas Banne, BTGMI Indonesian interim administrator, visited the listener community in Bali, he met Sariani and saw evidence of God at work in her life. She spoke about that.

"Thank you for giving me a radio with louder sound. May we all be blessed by the program, and may your ministry be blessed also," she said.
