
Opportunity Title: Worship-Leading Workshop Team
Location: Mukachevo, Ukraine
Number of Positions: A team of at least two participants
CRCNA Ministry Involved: CRWM
Time Commitment: Two weeks or more
Dates Opportunity is Available: Anytime except August
Purpose: Assist CRWM missionaries, George & Sarah de Vuyst, by holding a workshop on contemporary worship leading.
Specific Responsibilities: The volunteers would assist CRWM missionaries, George & Sarah de Vuyst, by holding a workshop on contemporary worship leading. The workshop would address the topics of what is worship, how to lead a congregation in worship, liturgy in worship, etc. Workshop participants would include members of various small churches across Ukraine who are striving to develop their music and worship ministries. Translation would be provided.
Qualifications:
• Mature Christian aged 18 or older, committed to serving Jesus Christ
• Good understanding of principles of Reformed worship
• Experience leading worship
• Singing and/or musical instrument skills (especially guitar or keyboard/piano)
• Flexible, adaptable and able to view life with a sense of humor.
Expectations of the volunteer:
• Complete and submit a volunteer application form and resume/CV.
• Undergo a background check.
• Complete recommended reading prior to departure.
• Raise prayer and financial support by inviting individuals, businesses and/or churches to support your ministry.
• Attend an orientation session in Grand Rapids, MI or Burlington, ON (when possible).
• Share with your supporters about your experience after returning to North America.
• Adhere to CRCNA Standards of Conduct.
Cost:
Approximately $1000 USD plus cost of round-trip airfare from North America

Support Services Provided: ServiceLink and CRWM agree to provide:
• Orientation materials as well as ongoing logistical support.
• The support of our CRWM missionaries and their local partners on-field.
• Debriefing assistance both on the field and after returning to North America.
