The Peter Fish are on Facebook

Some might remember this iconic fish from their childhood days or the days when their children were small. The little orange plastic fish banks are possibly the most memorable part of CRWRC’s World Hunger Campaigns each year.

Churches distribute the banks each fall, children fill them with their coins, and the banks are collected so that the proceeds can help CRWRC fight global hunger around the world. 

Now, the Peter Fish are virtual too.

In 2010 CRWRC launched a Facebook Cause to spread the word and feed the fish as much as possible.

Our goal – to maximize the number or people and number of dollars being committed to the fight against hunger.

Will you participate?  

The steps are simple:

1. Join the Feed The Fish cause on Facebook
   
2. Donate $10 to CRWRC’s Feed The Fish campaign - US | Canada
   
3. Tell 10 friends about your donation and encourage them to join the cause
   
4. Post an intriguing status on your profile page for at least five hours... For example: “<name> fed the fish, will you?” or "<name> didn't forget to feed the fish!"
