Sharing the position as the first full-time chaplain at UNBC, Neil and Virginia Lettinga coordinate the pastoral counseling services of the volunteer interfaith campus chaplains as well as teach courses, facilitate faculty prayer and discussion groups, and mentor students in Bible studies and small groups in their home.

The Lettingas' Reformed perspective on faith and learning has been welcomed at this young northern university and in their partnership with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and International Student Fellowship.
