Ramy Gamal Joins BTGMI in Arabic Media Ministry

A few months ago, Back to God Ministries International asked people to pray, asking God to help find the best person to lead BTGMI’s Arabic media ministry.

God answered the prayer, calling Ramy Gamal to this position.

Gamal grew up in the Christian faith while living in a southern suburb of Cairo.

“I am so grateful to have the parents I have,” says Gamal. “While we were never rich, they gave me the richest of gifts—my Savior Jesus Christ.”

Gamal’s passionate faith led him to use his musical abilities to lead worship in one of Cairo’s largest churches.

“Leading a church in worship is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done,” says Gamal. “To take the people into the presence of God through music and prayer is, for me, the most important thing I can do in my life.”

Now Gamal is excited to “lead worship every day” in his new role.

“I have been looking for somewhere to serve God in my daily work,” he says.“While I know I can serve God in my [current] job, I felt a calling to find a position where I can use my skills to tell others about Christ.”

Gamal will also use his background in sales and marketing as he promotes new programs to disciple Arabic-speaking believers. He has also spent the last year beginning a Masters of Theology program.
