A New Website, a New Think Christian Experience

ReFrame Media’s Think Christian digital magazine has launched a new website that provides the user with a fast, barrier-free experience.

It’s now easier than ever to browse topics and find  articles that discuss how popular culture and its cultivators interact with God’s story.

“We genuinely care about our users and their experience,” says Justin Sterenberg, digital media director for ReFrame Media and Back to God Ministries International.

“This site rebuild is all about the content. We didn’t want anything to get in the way of that. Everything is focused on making it easier, faster, and less distracting to actually consume
Think Christian.”

Sterenberg adds, “Nothing kills a digital experience like long load times, so speed was a core focus throughout the build process. This influenced design decisions throughout, even to the point of removing fonts so the site only had to load a minimal amount of them.”

Now on the website are such articles as Best of Television 2017; Podcasts and Mass-mediated Fellowship; and U2’s Unfashionably Hopeful Songs of Experience.

Think Christian editor, Josh Larsen, describes new features on the improved site. “One of my favorite new features is the way images now reveal themselves. But this isn’t just a face-lift. We've redesigned things to make the reader’s experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. The image animation looks cool, yes, but it also allows text to load more quickly so that you can start reading right away.”

Another new feature makes it easier to share articles with friends who might want to explore a particular topic. One click shares a thought or an article on Twitter, Facebook, email, or to copy onto a clipboard. Also available are additional resources to help the reader go deeper into a topic.

Faith intersects with popular culture every day. Join us as we explore the intersection at Think Christian's new website. And be sure to share one of the articles on the way out!
