New Website for Libros Desafío

All of the Christian Reformed Church’s Libros Desafío Spanish-language products are now available for purchase online from the Faith Alive Christian Resources website.

Up until last week, the Libros Desafío products were sold through a separate e-commerce website, which is now discontinued. A new mobile-responsive website for the Libros Desafío brand was launched last week at LibrosDesafio.org.

“Online ordering through Faith Alive is convenient, especially on mobile devices, and customers who order Libros Desafío products can use one online account to order all products from the Faith Alive website,” said Mary Schuurmans, marketing coordinator for Faith Alive product lines.

“Our hope is that this change will also give Libros Desafío products more exposure to a larger audience through the Faith Alive website.”

Libros Desafío customers who order online will now be able to manage address information, see ordering history, and access downloadable files. They can utilize the online chat feature on the Faith Alive website for assistance with ordering, or with questions.

“Libros Desafío customers will be able to see whether or not a book is in stock at the time they place their order,” said Jane Hilbrand, customer service manager for Faith Alive. “In addition, customers of Faith Alive materials will be exposed to Spanish-language titles, possibly broadening the reach of these materials.”

“The Faith Alive website is an English e-commerce site, but that’s no different than the old Libros Desafio site. Our hope is to add a multilingual cart in the future so that customers can order in both English and Spanish.” said Schuurmans.
