Join us for the exciting 2020 Grand Rapids community events celebrating the life and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community worship will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the DeVos Center for Arts & Worship (2300 Plymouth Avenue SE, Grand Rapids) at 6:00 PM, with keynote speaker Tynae Richardson of One Church Empowerment Center. The Annual Commemoration Program will be held Monday, January 20, 2020, at Fountain Street Church (24 Fountain Street NE, Grand Rapids) at 6:30 pm. All events are free and open to the public.

As the program is growing, the need for more hearts, hands and energy is also needed. We welcome and need your participation and support. Can you sing? The MLK Celebration music offerings are a contributing centerpiece. Share the joy with us by joining the community choirs, as either a student or an adult. Rehearsals are Monday evenings and Saturday mornings between January 6 and 18 at New Hope Baptists church (130 Delaware SW, Grand Rapids) - see schedule below.
