My oh my, what a year it's been for CRC Product Services. Last January the printing presses were turned off for good and most of our production staff, some of our work, and some of our equipment went to RBC Ministries. As hard as that was, remaining staff has done a great job of finding other sources for what we used to do in-house.

To ring in the New Year, changes continue.

Effective immediately, we're abbreviating our group's name to simply Proservices. We're still the people to go to for design for print and on-screen, purchasing of anything and everything, and distribution.

The renovation of our office space is complete. It feels almost like Christmas around here! A big Thank You to Facilities and IT for their good work. We've not yet relocated the mail drop-off and copy pickup area yet. We'll be sure to let you know when that happens. And then we can begin the work of fixing up the digital print and mail-handling areas and moving our distribution function to the main level.

In our last Newz, we asked for your ideas on what those two-hole waste containers that popped up in the common areas here at 2850 were. Here are some of the responses:
• One [hole] is for cans, one is for bottles.
• Medical waste containers.
• What? Those aren't the new shredder containers?
• It's a great place to hide in for a quick nap.
• A mobile port-a-bike pan for Sea to Sea riders who don't want to be slowed down! Hooks on the back of your bike for easy carting.

We'll make sure to send these folks some cheap vendor-supplied swag for their effort.
