Pastors' Spouses' Conference

Highlights of the event include:

• Fun workshops including beading, card-making, and folk dancing.
• Informative workshops on such topics as marriage and ministry, dealing with difficult people, and how to simplify your life.
• A “free night” to get out and explore the sights, shops, and attractions of beautiful Vancouver (the hotel offers special discounts at several local retailers).
• Free childcare (for mothers with nursing infants only).
• Lots of food, fun, and fellowship!

Conference brochures will be mailed out in December and registration will begin on January 15, 2010.  Registration is limited to 100 CRC pastors’ spouses. Please do not contact our office prior to January 15 requesting to be registered. In order to be fair to all, we’re working with the January 15 date.

Travel scholarships will be available for those travelling more than 155 miles (250 kms), and will cover up to half of the travel expenses. They’ll be awarded in early March. Please note: We strongly discourage any travel arrangements (e.g.: flights) being made prior to receiving acknowledgement of your registration from the SPE office.

US spouses: You’ll be required to have a current passport in order to travel to Canada. If you don’t have one, please take care of this as soon as possible so you have the necessary documents in time for the conference.
