Opportunity Title: Chief Administrative Officer
Location: Jos, Nigeria

CRCNA Partner Group Involved: The Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre is an organization established with a view to glorify God through provision of physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual support to those who are in some way handicapped in order for them to overcome some of their limitations, live more productive lives, and contribute toward nation building and Kingdom development.
Number of Positions: Multiple
Expected Length of Service: 8 Weeks (Can only be extended with approval from the field.)

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Development-- Facilitate the development of needed processes and procedures to provide
Human Resource structure to the program up to and including:
- creating job descriptions
- development of supervision guidelines and procedures.
- development of personnel and program evaluations procedures.
- development of administrative procedures and policies.
2. Organizational/Administrative---Meet regularly with staff to provide training in procedures, processes
and policies.
- Assist the director in the creation of a Staff Handbook.
- Provide assistance to staff in areas of creation of work plans, evaluations, and an accountability structure.
3. Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Mature Christian committed to serving and following Christ;
- Strong organizational skills
- An understanding of basic healthcare/general anatomy
- Respectful of and ability to thrive in cross cultural settings or another culture;
- Demonstrated interest in learning about Christian community development;
- Commitment to CRWRC development values;
- Self-starter and able to work and guide own learning without constant on-site supervision;
- Able and willing to work in a team setting;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required (MS Access also preferred);
- Ability to invite others into his/her ministry through prayer and financial support;
- Ability to work effectively while dealing with the ambiguity of adjusting to another culture;
- Able to nurture own faith in a sometimes isolated environment;
- Good oral communication and writing skills;
- Flexible, adaptable and able to view life with a sense of humor.

Financial Obligations of the Volunteer: please note that costs are estimated and listed in US funds
- Estimation of $7,400 US for RT Airfare to Nigeria
- Transfers
- In-country travel, Insurance
- Living Allowance, Immunizations

- Other Personal Expenses
Additional Cost-depending on each individual
- Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond date of return)
- Communication (i.e. cell phone, internet)
