Riding a bike coast to coast is my life goal #17. If I wait any longer I won’t ever check it off. I have been raising money for numerous not-for-profits and this will allow me to raise money for Christian agencies close to my heart.
More than 30 years ago I injured my neck in a bicycle accident. Shortly after I set 80+ goals to attain in my lifetime. On January 15 my neurologist, chiropractor, and physical therapist gave me permission to ride a bicycle cross-country IF it was a recumbent bike and IF I got into very good shape by riding at least 2000 miles beforehand. On January 16 I purchased my recumbent bike and have since then ridden 950+ miles on my bikes.
