TALKING about poverty is easy. DOING something about poverty takes energy and effort! I want to ride my bike with the hope that more people will become aware and then get involved in an issue that our Lord said would always be with us. I think it's time to help the poor now (see Mark 14:7 and Psalm 72:8). I will likely preach more powerfully with my legs than I ever could with my lips. |
