Sea to Sea is an opportunity for me to use my skills--as a triathlete and long-time runner--to raise awareness and funds for the needs of my neighbors around the globe. This is not only an opportunity for me to help end the cycle of poverty, but a great chance to spread the word about how each person that we meet can get involved.
As an entrepreneur, lawyer, and farmer myself, I’ve used my skills and experience to help small farmers and businesses in Iowa, a farm cooperatives in Russia, as well as volunteering with Partners Worldwide as a business mentor in New Mexico and Mississippi.
Everyone has gifts to share to make this world a better place, to reach out to someone in need. Whether it is through finances, prayer, or sharing skills, I hope that each person can find a way to get involved. |
