From World Relief: This month CRWRC Disaster Response Services has a large needs-assessment team in the Atlanta, Ga., area going door-to-door and staffing walk-in centers. Atlanta experienced major flooding in September, getting 15 inches of rain in just a few days. Please pray that the assessments will be a positive experience for the community and that the response services will be productive and successful.

From Disability Concerns: Until a new director of Chaplaincy and Care Ministry is hired and begins working, Rev. Mark Stephenson will continue to serve as director of Chaplaincy and Care and as director of Disability Concerns. Pray that God will give him wisdom to use his time well as he serves both of these ministries.

From World Missions: This week a joint board of missionaries and pastors in Mexico is meeting to discuss funding for church planting efforts, evangelism, and education grants for the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Mexico, a partner organization. Pray for wisdom as these leaders consider where God is calling them to be involved in ministry next year.

From Calvin College: Calvin College continues to be blessed with creative professors and eager students, but by mid-November both groups are a bit weary and eager for the Thanksgiving break. Pray that professors may approach their teaching, mentoring, and grading with energy and focus, and that students may learn well and balance their time wisely.

It touched my life and completely changed it.” Pray that many more people in India will hear of Jesus through this media ministry.

5 - Thursday (Race Relations: Belhar Confession study)

At Synod 2009 a proposal to recommend study of the Belhar Confession passed overwhelmingly.
