Awarded to a CRC congregation who has demonstrated effective and replicable “greening” through education, lifestyle,and theological initiatives.
 

Has your church made changes to your facilities, worship, and lifestyles in order to care for God’s creation? Whether your changes are large or small, you're eligible to apply for our Green Congregational Grant, a competitive award of $500 given to one US and one Canadian church successful in "greening" their corner of the CRC.

Tell us your story of transformation by March 31, and enter to win this award to be used to further your program.

Consideration Criteria

Congregations will be considered for this award based on:

  • The ability for other churches to learn from and replicate the idea presented.
  • The impact made on environmental sustainability.
  • The impact made on community and congregational transformation.
  • Creative and transformative plans for the $500 grant.

Terms of Agreement

All applications must be received by March 31, 2011 to be considered.

Churches which apply for the grant agree to allow the CRCNA to use their story in publication and promotion of green initiatives.
