Do you have what it takes to be our new Policy Analyst and Advocacy Fellow? Apply to spend a year with the Christian Reformed Office of Social Justice!
This full-time, one-year fellowship is designed to give hands-on experience in identifying, tracking, and analyzing issues as well as designing legislative advocacy campaigns relating to systemic causes of poverty, conflict, and oppression. It is intended for those with an undergraduate degree or higher in political science, international development, or similar field.
The fellowship comes with a stipend that covers basic living expenses. It entails significant interaction with experienced staff in the social justice arena, meetings with legislators, occasional travel to meetings and seminars, and exposure to national and international social justice and advocacy organizations.
The Policy Analyst and Advocacy Fellow plays a critical role in the Office of Social Justice’s team effort to assist the CRC in acting out its commitment to justice and peace as an integral part of its mission.
A letter of application and resume is due by March 31, 2012. Preferred start date is mid-July, but can be flexible.
