The TOGETHER Project

The church is ALL God's people together! The Bible presents us with many wonderful pictures of God's children of all ages serving, worshipping and learning together. Isn't it time we, too, seek to challenge society's tendency to segregate and once again be One Body?

The denominational ministry plan, informed by the Canadian Ministry Forum, has named this as one of the CRC's top priorities as a church.  The Children and Youth Ministry Council which includes representatives of Faith Alive, Calvin Worship Institute, Home Missions and Calvin Seminary as well as the Executive Directors of GEMS, Cadets and Youth Unlimited meets regularly to talk about and evaluate how well the church is working together to minister with and to members of all ages in an integrated way. They also seek to provide churches with the resources and support they need to be effective in their worship and ministry as the whole people of God.
