Action: Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Good Friday, Easter (March 16-23)

Hold a short Offering of Letters training event at your church. Offering of Letters is an annual advocacy campaign from Bread for the World (many of our Christian Reformed Churches participate, and some congregations are even "covenant" churches with Bread.) This year, the OL focuses on more and better poverty-focused development assistance, and includes advocacy for the Global Poverty Act.
The OSJ encourages you to get your OL toolkit, and get your church involved. Bread provides everything you need to learn about the issue, to setting up a workshop, and materials for education and advocacy. Consider this offering of letters as an extension of your charitable giving. Working for policies that help the poor and hungry is an act of Christian service!
