Breaking Barriers
Breaking Barriers has three purposes:
- to tell the stories of people in the church who live with disabilities and their families,
- to provide useful information for church members and leaders on ministry with people with disabilities,
- to inspire the church to include ALL of its members in its life and ministry.
News
The Christian Reformed Church's work with people with disabilities was featured in an article from a 2006 book. Hank Kuntz, a Regional Disability Advocate, summarized this article.
Read about Stacy Collie's adventures in doing volunteer work with the Christian Reformed World Relief committee working with people with disabilities in Nigeria.
An article on being hard of hearing has been translated into Korean. Thanks to our friends at Good Shepherd CRC in Anaheim, California, for their work on this.
