North America is the only continent where Christianity is not growing.

Why Plant New Churches?

God wants people to be brought into his Kingdom. That’s why God is calling the Christian Reformed Church to plant churches that reach people for Christ.

Why? New churches are well equipped to meet the spiritual and social needs of those who are investigating Christianity. New church planters are trained to lead core groups that relate effectively to seekers. Church planting teams receive the coaching necessary to draw people to Christ.

Christian Reformed Home Missions leads the denomination in planting new churches. Since 1988, the CRC has started an average of 16 new churches per year and helped to bring more than 37,000 people to Christ.

But God is calling us to do more. The goal is to reach more people for Christ in obedience to God’s missionary call.
