On a daily basis, about 30,000 people all over the world die unnecessarily of hunger and preventable diseases. About half of this number are children, making the death toll one child every five seconds. In North America families are not immune to hunger either.  Over 14 million North American children go to bed hungry on a regular basis.

CRWRC wants to put an end to this tragedy.  You can help. Each year, CRWRC hosts a World Hunger Campaign that provides a variety of resources to educate people about the global crisis of hunger, and some activity suggestions to get people involved in the solution.  The campaign culminates in World Hunger Sunday (the first Sunday in November).
