The Grace Hunger Walk ~ May 1st, 2009
The Grace Hunger Walk funds support 17 local agencies and 4 international relief agencies, including CRWRC. International giving will focus on hunger relief efforts in Central and South America and Africa, with an additional focus this year on relief efforts in Haiti.

Calvin College Haiti Benefit Concert & Art Auction
March 5, 6:30-9:00 PM  & March 6, 2:30-5:00 PM in the Calvin College Chapel
Admission is $3 at the door. T-shirts are $8. There will also be a silent auction for art work that has been donated by students. All proceeds to help CRWRC's Haiti Earthquake response.

Goshen Christian School ~ In three weeks, the student body and faculty at Goshen Christian School raised more than $2,100 as part of their Hope of Haiti campaign. The elementary school students made and sold homemade candy and cupcakes, and the older grades hosted a breakfast for fellow students. They also had a coin drop at a nearby mall and the entire school collected redeemable coupons.

John Knox students will provide clean water
Who knew frosted cupcakes, brownies and cookies could be turned into fresh, clean water?  Smart students at John Knox Christian School found a way last week, raising an amazing $713 from a bake sale to go towards the purchase of a purification system that will provide clean water to 1,000 Haitians.

Beaches Alternative School in Toronto held a coin drive and raised $800!

Basketball Game Raises Relief for Haiti
Hudsonville boys, girls beat Unity Christian in Salad City Classic!
Money was raised for the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee's Haiti Relief Effort with donation buckets, through the sale of Classic T-shirts and by competing in various games. More than $3,000 has been given so far, according to Unity Christian athletic director Jerry DeGroot
