In rural areas of Bangladesh, child and maternal mortality rates are high.  Women and their babies die from complications in childbirth that could be avoided with health education and resources.  Nancy TenBroek, CRWRC's Asia Regional Advisor for Health, shares how CRWRC and its partner PARI are training Traditional Birth Attendants to care for pregnant and nursing mothers, deliver babies, and recognize danger signs during delivery.  A Birth Attendant named Shibani Hajong shares what she has learned and how she has helped women in her community since she has been trained.
