WHY
Whatever you want to call it, the world is asking for answers to the increasing vulnerability and food insecurity caused by striking weather variations around the globe. Believers in Jesus Christ have a unique role to play as stewards of creation because we know that “our world belongs to God.”
On the Creation Care Tour, you can be part of the climate solution through CRWRC. CRWRC has not only provided emergency food aid in Kenya, but also addresses long-term issues like environmental degradation. Through reforestation and restoration programs with our Christian partners, CRWRC is helping Kenya’s poorest communities improve food security, dig resevoirs, build erosion control terraces, and plant efficient crops. While enjoying Kenya’s gorgeous national parks and wild savannahs, you will also participate with CRWRC partners in reforestation of native tree species, conservation agriculture, carbon sequestration, and no-till planting. Together, we will be working to sustainably restore Kenya’s environmental footprint so that it can meet, and continue to meet, the needs of its hungry people.
