Partner Missionaries

Partner Missionaries ordinarily serve in one of two distinct relationships governed by the policies of World Missions and/or the cooperative agreements mutually agreed upon by World Missions and the respective sending agency.

Partnerships with sending agencies involve the following considerations:
• financial profile is determined by the sending agency
• the sending agency is the "employer" and "deployer" of personnel
• World Missions makes a financial contribution to the sending agency in support of CRC persons designated as "partners" with the respective sending agency

Partnerships with schools involve the following considerations:
• contract with the respective institution is negotiated by the partner
• the institution is the actual employer, provider of insurance coverage, housing
• a salary supplement of a stipulated amount, if desired and needed, can be channeled through World Missions and is designated to provide for supplemental insurance costs, travel, loan payments, etc.

A "Conditions of Service" document recording all financial details is developed to cover each specific assignment.

Note: Financial grants to sending agencies on behalf of Partner Missionaries are in support of ministries that World Missions has determined to be supportive of its basic goals and objectives. Ordinarily, Partner Missionaries serving institutions serve in those places where World Missions is also active and has a vested interest.
