Fried Bread

Half a loaf of the darkest bread available
1 garlic clove, peeled
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
Slice bread into 1 inch fingers and fry on both sides in a pan of vegetable oil (you can deep fat fry as well.) Firmly rub garlic across each bread finger. Stir mayonnaise and cheese together, pour over garlic bread fingers and microwave until melted.
Serves 4.
