What you’ll be doing: (**) Team members will participate in ministry with street youth (largely at night) and/or work with active gang members and their children and families in prisons. There may also be opportunities for neighborhood youth outreach with cutting-edge local churches.

Tentative Cost: $2800 USD/$3500 CAD
Where you’ll stay: Depending on the ministry you are involved with, you will either stay with a local family in the community where you are serving, or will be housed at a local seminary.
Who you'll spend your summer with:
- Your hosts on the field: Joel and Marilyn Van Dyke are career missionaries with CRWM. Joel is the director of Estragegia de Transformacion, a ministry that exists to equip the church in Latin America to effectively reach high-risk youth and their families in hard places.
- Your teammates: a team of up to ten participants. Team members should have at least an intermediate level of conversational Spanish. Native Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
**PLEASE NOTE: a key missionary characteristic is flexibility, and you will definitely be developing yours! In other words, everything (and we do mean EVERYTHING) is subject to change.
