The Estrategia de Transformación (EdT) (Strategy of Transformation in English) is an alliance of the Center for Transforming Mission and Christian Reformed World Missions. The EdT exists to mobilize and nurture missional communities who serve and empower the urban poor and make tangible Jesus’ vision in Luke 4:1: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach Good News to the poor, proclaim release to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
EdT's mission is carried out through the three-fold strategy of training, sustaining and modeling in and with missional communities made up of grassroots leaders serving the least, last and lost people groups of their respective cities and nations.
- Training: We are committed to the theological and spiritual formation of those who serve in hard places.
- Street Psalms Theological Intensives
- Street Psalms Spiritual Formation
- Internships
- Sustaining: We are committed to creating renewable resources that sustain missional communities that serve in hard places. This includes:
- Street Psalms Community
- Web-based resources and writing
- Curriculum and Liturgies
- Spiritual Direction and Mentorship
- Modeling: We are committed to modeling what it means to be a missional community. Each EdT staff and volunteer participates in helping to develop local missional communities in their own contexts.
