Global Update

We want to keep you up to date, and encourage you and your church on how God is using the Christian Reformed Church through Christian Reformed World Missions to reach the world for Christ.  The World Missions Global Update includes a PowerPoint presentation that is three to four minutes long, as well as a two-page color text version, highlighting some of the exciting things that God is doing through the Christian Reformed Church in partnership with World Missions.  Each church receives a copy of the Global Update Annual report every Fall. We encourage you to use it through the following ways:

• Show the PowerPoint presentation before the service, during the offering, to a Sunday school class, to a small group or during a missions committee meeting.
• Read one of the mission highlights during the worship services or use it as a prayer guide as part of the congregational prayer.
• Photocopy the text version and distribute it to all church members (perhaps via your monthly newsletter), a Sunday school class, or to each small group.
• Post the text version on the missions bulletin board at your church, or to another place where people will see it and read it.

The Global Update is also produced in the Winter and Spring for use by Regional Missions Mobilizers, board members, and staff.  These are available through our DVD lending service.
