Ministry at a Glance

Over 200 million people in Indonesia, nearly 90% of the population, identify themselves as Muslim. More Muslims live in Indonesia than any other country.

Although Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM) has no missionaries living in Indonesia, a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church and a CRWM partner, Back to God Ministries International (BTGMI), has broadcasts throughout the Indonesian islands. BTGMI is piloting nearly 150 communities of listener groups in specific geographic areas, with 50-150 people each, to hear God's Word. CRWM partners with BTGMI by sending a missionary to Indonesia periodically to train leaders of the listener groups as coordinators and evangelists.
