Ministry in Honduras at a Glance
In Honduras, CRWM works in conjunction with the Christian Reformed Church of Honduras to create and promote healthy congregations and to train leaders for effective service. CRWM provides funds for projects in evangelism, education, church construction, and church development. CRWM also provides personnel who serve the CRC of Honduras as consultants and trainers.
Facets of Ministry in Honduras
At present, Ellen VanTongeren is serving as a consultant and trainer with the six classes (regional church bodies) of the Christian Reformed Church of Honduras, assisting them with planning, evaluation and management of funds for programs in the areas of evangelism, education, church construction and church development.
Each year there are also members of the CRCNA who work as teachers at two English-language schools in Tegucigalpa (the Academia Los Pinares and the International School). Both are K-12 Christian schools.
