* Soft cover book, 8.5 x 11, 210 pages
* 30 lessons
Where you can find it:
- The Beauty of Partnership
- $29.95 USD (includes free small group discussion guide DVD)
- $19.95 USD each for 10 or more copies
Why we recommend it:
The 30-lesson study guide takes church leaders or short-term missions teams to a level of readiness for partnership with a community or group overseas. The articles provide teaching on a variety of areas including cultural intelligence, what it means to be a “servant”, how to listen, cross-cultural communication tips, understanding diversity, and how money can taint relationships. The goal is to make church leaders aware of what they are getting into when establishing and pursuing global partnerships.
The articles are interesting and informative. Each lesson gives sound teaching and is gentle but firm in its message. The amount of the information may be somewhat daunting for some but overall a very useful resource for those churches and individuals engaged in cross-cultural partnerships with national churches and organizations.

* Six, 1-hour sessions

Why we recommend it:
"BRIDGES is helping Christians connect with Muslims. This dynamic study - featuring real-life stories, interviews, and practical teaching - clears up the the confusion surrounding Islam and helps you see Muslims as Jesus sees them. By replacing fear and intimidation with compassion and boldness, BRIDGES is reshaping the way Christians view and respond to their Muslim neighbors." (from the cover)
The curriculum is very engaging and informative. It includes a basic historical overview of the rise of Islam as well as a summary of the basic beliefs and practices of Islam. Also included are very practical ideas for developing relationships with Muslims and tools for sharing the Gospel with Muslims. The curriculum uses bridges between Islam and Christianity as a way of sharing the Gospel. These are similarities between Islam and Christianity such as their common views on the Word of God and the importance of sacrifice.

* Includes leader's guide and participant guides plus other supplementary material. Appropriate for adults.
Where you can find it:
- OperationWorldview.org

Why we recommend it:
This curriculum helps participants to see “God’s grand love story” for all peoples. Based partially on the life-changing course, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, it introduces the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of world missions.
This program teaches the basics about God’s redemptive plan, and why we “do” missions. Great for an evening worship service or adult education class. Could be used in a similar fashion to ALPHA (dinner & discussion). The leader’s guide is clearly laid out and very detailed in what to do, how to prepare lessons.

Why we recommend it:
From Islam to Voodoo, missionaries and national believers face challenges abroad that are also found in North America. This DVD curriculum helps the curious and the world-minded Christian to discover these challenges and get plugged in to God’s mission.
Engaging, easy to use, professionally produced and hip. Not only introduces the ministry of WM, but the broader topics as well. Well structured to facilitate discussion with help from the host. Works with very little if at all no preparation. Appropriate for highschool youth group, cultural studies, catechism, adult bible study, and small groups.

Why we recommend it:
"Explains the basic beliefs and practices of Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Participants are better equipped to evaluate the religious beliefs of their friends and neighbours, and become more confident in their own faith."
Excellent! This curriculum uses various media and interactive activities (such as inviting a Buddhist monk to share or visiting a Hindu temple) to demystify world religions and help us as Christians understand and befriend our neighbours at home and abroad. Presented in a fun and interesting way.
