Chicken or Beef Stew

1 chicken, cut up or 2 pounds beef, cut into bite-size strips
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
8 small cloves garlic
6 medium size onions
2 large beef or chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup oil
4 cups water
Boiled rice
Marinate the meat for 15 minutes to 1 hour in the juice, garlic, onions, bouillon cubes, and pepper. Heat the oil very hot. Add the meat only and brown. Add the marinade and 4 cups of water or so. Simmer for about 1/2 hour or until the meat is tender. Serve over plain boiled rice.
Serves 6-8.
