Thorold is a blue-collar town of nineteen thousand people.  In the last fifteen years, three of its major employers have closed down.  As a result, there are many impoverished areas, and unemployment has become a major concern.  In addition, Thorold is one of the most under-churched areas in the Niagara region.   The Village is passionate about serving people and restoring impoverished areas in Thorold.  Through a strong network of small groups, it seeks to establish a long term, committed relationship with the people of Thorold and to carry out the mandate of meeting needs and discipling people.
