Story Hour and Little Lambs Workshop

Story Hour and Little Lambs are programs designed to introduce preschool children to God and his world in an age-appropriate, fun way. Little lambs, our program for two and three year olds, teaches about God through a play curriculum. Using play centers and a variety of teaching options, teachers plant the seeds for little ones to learn about Jesus' love. Story Hour is a Bible-story centered program for four, five, and six year olds. Using a variety of Learning Activities in a very hands-on way, teachers reinforce the central truth of each lesson. Both Little Lambs and Story Hour are companion programs to Coffee Break--a small group women's Bible study program--but they can also be used independently.

The Story Hour and Little Lambs training is an active and fun learning experience for all who desire to make a difference in the lives of little
children. It gives important information on: 1) the characteristics of the young preschool child;  2) the Little Lambs and Story Hour curriculum; and 3) becoming an effective leader of children. Those attending the training will gain new insights on how to nurture these little ones so they learn about God and his world and respond to his love. It also gives organizational information and practical how-to's for working with preschoolers.

The fee is $30 per participant. This fee includes a three-hour presentation, workshop materials, a booklet entitled Little Ones Need Jesus, a gospel presentation called "Would You Like to Know Jesus? and sample curriculum lessons.

Both the Little Lambs and Story Hour curriculum are designed to be user-friendly for experienced or beginning leaders.
