Church Planter Pre-Conference Gathering in Calgary
Attention all church planters, church plant teams, campus chaplains, potential cluster leaders, missional leaders and all spouses:
We want to invite you to attend an exciting event with church planters and their teams from all 
across North America in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this coming November! Why? Every two years Church Planting Canada hosts a Church Planting Congress, which is an ecumenical gathering of planters from across Canada. This year the event will be in Calgary.
Christian Reformed Home Missions, along with the Regional Ministry Teams from Western and Eastern Canada will be hosting a bookend day on the front end of this conference. Our focus will be on the theme of clusters and networks. We will be looking at some case studies involving cluster sites that are working well in our denomination--like Seattle and Sacramento or places like Toronto where a cluster is in the beginning stages, and Calgary, which has had a history of networking
Why will this pre-conference be a great event to attend? Most planters have discovered the need for clusters where peer support, encouragement and learning take place. Many campus chaplains are involved in social justice work, and are seeing the benefits of partnering with other ministries in their communities. Missional leaders will want to attend to learn more about clustering and to experience peer learning and networking. We think these events will be a great opportunity to gather, network and share with each other.
Home Missions Pre-Conference Bookend Dates : Nov 16 starting with dinner through Nov 17: 5:00 pm
The registration fee for this day is $25 per person, which includes 3 dinners (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), lunch and breakfast (Tuesday). What a deal!
LOGISTICS:
Hotel: We have secured the Calgary Downtown Suites for lodging. To help you with cost, we have blocked 20 single bedrooms ($109/night), and 30 two bedrooms ($139/night). The cost of lodging will be your responsibility and you will have to provide a valid credit card at time of reservation.
